Marketing Federal Foods is one of the very few distributors in the region which boasts of a full fledged marketing team. The marketing department consists of a industry experienced team which works in co-ordination with brand custodians and the product managers to take the brand to its deserved status.
The marketing is responsible for all the corporate as well as retail and food service brand related activities encompassing communications, PR, events, and arts and design. The team works extensively throughout the year working on corporate livery, product launches, product positioning activities, advertising, public relations, events and POS materials development.
The retail team works in conjunction with the product management carrying out audits, competition analysis, product planning, visibility plans, POSM development and conducting mega consumer promotions. The department also has an in-house sales promoter team which conducts sampling and tasting of products to the consumers throughout the year.
The food service team works with the foodservice sales team providing continuous support function as well has helping the brand to strengthen its position in the trade.
The arts team consists of a team of 3 graphic designers complete with macs and plotting machines and does major print works in-house. This ensures complete control and fast response times to help achieve a sustainable competitive advantage for the brand and the company in a highly competitive environment.
Federal Food also as an in-house private label team which works on the Federal Foods own brands.
The commercial team at Federal Foods is on the constant lookout for new products and agencies to expand its line of distribution in the Middle East. As the top distributor in the FMCG sector we pride ourselves on the brands and the products that are provided to the consumers here.
Apart from the new agencies the team also focuses on bringing exciting products from the brands already present with Federal Foods by conducting market research on current consumer trends.
With more than thousand SKUs across different business and product categories and widely spread customers, the logistics and supply chain has to be one of the best in the industry.
Federal Foods can store more than 16,000 MT of Frozen, Chilled, Ambient and Dry products across all the Emirates of UAE at any given time. This is well supported by experience and mechanized picking and delivery procedures and equipments.
The logistics department also consists of the fleet manager who looks after our own fleet of more than 240 temperature controlled vehicles. He ensures that the vehicles deliver the products at the right temperature and condition to their final destination. Also to ensure the most efficient use of the fleet with the least idle time.
Some of the other functions of the logistics department include in-house Clearing & Forwarding, storage of food & non-food, in multiple temperature zones, sales order processing, order picking, outbound deliveries and stock taking.
Federal Foods logistics team operates 24 x 7 meeting all customer needs.
Like all departments, the Federal Foods finance department is headed and guided by qualified, certified and experienced finance people. With a strong team of comprising of finance professionals, accountants and junior accountants the department gives a support function to all the other departments.
The company follows the international accounting principals and treats the calendar year as its fiscal year. The company deals with all major national and international banks.
